In 2011, the Canadian Broadcasting Company marked the 50th year of the Massey Lecture Series by asking Adam to deliver five lectures on a subject close to the heart of all Canadians – Winter.
In Winter: Five Windows on the Season, Adam took listeners on an intimate tour of the artists, poets, composers, writers, explorers, scientists, and thinkers, who helped shape a new and modern idea of winter.
